We believe the Holy Bible to be the Authorized King James Version of 1611, which was divinely inspired and the product of Spirit-filled men; it is preserved to date (Psalm 12: 6-7), being is the infallible, inerrant word of God given in the English language- English being the superior, universal language of this current day). Translated perfectly. and therefore, is the truth (John 17:17) – without any admixture of error for its matter (including the italicized words). We believe the Bible to be the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried. We believe the Bible to have only ONE interpretation which may be revealed to any believer by the Holy Spirit. In “rightly dividing the word of truth”, we hold onto a dispensationalist view, & believe there was a gap between Genesis 1:1 & Genesis 1:2.
We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God, an infinite, intelligent Spirit, a consuming fire, the Creator and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth; inexpressibly glorious in holiness, and worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love; that in the unity of the Godhead, there are three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost—equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. Isa 44:6 Isa 57:15 I Cor 8:6 Rev 4:11 I John 5:7
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Ghost in a miraculous manner; born of Mary, a virgin; and that He is both completely man and completely God. He was subject to temptation, yet was without ANY sin. He is the Messiah for Israel, the Saviour of the world, the ONLY way any man can come to God the Father for forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. He is to be worshipped and glorified as the LORD. Isa 7:14 Isa 9:6-7 Luke 1:31-35 Matt 4:1-11 Heb 4:15 I Pet 2:22 John 4:42 John 14:6 John 20:28 Luke 24:52 John 16:14 Phil 2:9-11
We believe that the Holy Spirit is equal with God the Father and God the Son and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; that He convicts of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; that He bears witness to the truth of the Gospel (death, burial, and resurrection-I Cor 15:1-4) in our preaching and testimony; that He is the agent of the New Birth; that He seals, fills, leads, intercedes, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies and comforts the believer. I Cor 3:17 John 14:16-17 Heb 9:14 John 14:16, 26 John 16:13-14 Luke 1:35 John 1:12-13 Gen 1:1-3 John 16:8-11 Acts 5:30-32 John 3:5-8 Eph 1:13-14 John 1:33 I Cor 12:13 I Cor 5:1-4
We believe that the salvation of a soul requires a belief in God, repentance toward God which involves genuine sorrow for sin and a willingness to turn from it; and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that this salvation is thereafter permanent and eternal to the believer; even those considered ‘backslidden’- refer to the doctrinal topic of ‘New Birth’ & ‘Sanctification’. Heb 11:6 Acts 20:21 II Cor 7:9-10 I Thess 1:9 Acts 16:31 John 3:16 Eph 1:13 Eph 4:30
We believe that sanctification is the divine setting a part of the believer unto God accomplished in a threefold manner; first, an eternal act of God, based upon redemption in Christ, establishing the believer’s spirit, or “new man” in a position of holiness at the moment he trusts the Saviour; second, a continuing process in the soul of the saint as the Holy Spirit applies the Word of God to the inner man, third; the final accomplishment of this process at the Lord’s return when the body, or old man, will then be changed and transformed in to a perfect, sinless body in the image of Christ. I Cor 6:11 Heb 10:10-14 I John 3:9 Eph 4:24 John 17:17 II Cor 3:18 II Cor 4:16 I Cor 1:30 Eph 5:25-26 I Thess 4:3-4 I Thess 5:23-24 Phil 3:21 I Cor 15:51-54 I Thess 4:13-17 Rom 8:29 I John 3:2
We believe in the unity of all true believers in the Church which is the Body of Christ (a universal church of born-again believers), that He began to build after the death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary (Acts 2:47 Acts 8:1,3 Gal 1:13 Heb 9:15-17), and will complete at the pre-tribulation rapture (I Thess 4:16-17), and into which all true believers of the present age are baptized immediately by the Holy Spirit at the time of salvation. (I Cor 12:12-13 Eph 4:5)
